Extraordinary video my friend. Subbed!▶

how are you able to directly hold the iron onto the plastic part without the plastic melting?
Wow
This is a very excellent video. well done sir.
Until now I thought 0201 was next impossible OMG WOW!!
What did the first one you polish with before the solder?
very useful information, cheers!
Hi great vid, would oven cleaner work well to clean old tips? or not cheer
Estupendo!
Video images are high quality and clean, suitable for all ages when watching videos.
thank you so much. this was knot in my heart.
Which flux do You recommend? Best Regards
no way, fuck off man... ive done a lot of soldering before always managed to fix by swiping it but now on a project where i cant see the spacing of the pins without a digital microscope i had a fat bridge and i had wick unused for years and after 2 hours of tearing my hair off not getting anywhere i decide to find information that i might not already know and your fucking telling me the all i had to do was turn the heat up a bit more then id usually use on the tin directly..... it took me under 5 seconds fixing this and it pissed me off to oblivion, i wasn't relieved i was annoyed, mostly at my own stupidity because this makes perfect sense

Terrible advice.
I'm surprised these don't stay stuck to your tweezers. Is that a special pair or something?
Mobile ultrasonic dental scaler 5v, for 5$?
What is about the hot pad?

Awesome!
brings a tear to Deadpool's eye
how to remove it afterward? (fluxx)
That IC is definitely dead
That flux is seems to be a best one. What is it?
Can you please advise what brand of the Flu you're using on this Video ? Thank you!
Thanks man
Hi and thank's for your video. Il think you put too much flux. You'v got long soldering pads, may be better for hand soldering, long but thin, and you could unstick them because your too long to solder. Also note that there are QFN packages with only 4 pins each side and you put too mutch tin on your wave iron. The way you do with these chips it would be a mess and finally a single short through. I Think you must also own a smaller wave pin to achieve better job. Lower a bit temp, and not feeding the iron wave each time : flux will prevent tin to burn if temperature isn't too hight. We learn by doing. Have fun!
I would have put my tip in my electric drill at full speed against some emery cloth and finished the soldering task already . 😂
I'm starting to realize why I suck at soldering
he thrown the material in that cleaner , he clean by throwing away the material which does soldering that a no no no , just clean it with something else
Все вроде так. Кроме одного. У вас горит флюс. Он окисляет жало. Снижаете температуру до 110 -120С и спокойно облуживаете жало сплавом Розе.
Yep. Brass wool is the way to go. Brass works so well because it's softer than the iron/Nickel coating, and can't scratch or damage it. Brass also loves to absorb the excess solder. I don't use sponges because I think the thermal shock will cause delamination of the iron/copper plating. Also, I tried buying those copper/brass scrubbies at Wal-Mart. I found out, they aren't copper or brass. You have to test them with a magnet. Some brands are just colored steel. They will work, but not as well as true brass wool. Another thing I avoid is leaving my soldering iron on for hours on end. Cooking the tip unused, for hours is bad for building up corrosion. I only do option 2 in the video. NEVER scrape or sand the tip. This will ruin the iron/nickel/chrome plating. Also, the guy in the video was cleaning the sides of the tip. You don't really care about the sides. Only the silver part at the end that is 'wettable'.
If the oxidation is bad, remove the tip, put it in a handheld drill or a drill press and give it some 600 grit sandpaper. Then give a little dab of flux and a thin coating of solder. always works.
Why do all this? won't it oxidize again?
Yet we still watch 6 years later 😂

I've been wondering what to use to apply solder, and it looks like a toothpick is a great solution! At least I think it was a toothpick in this video. I didn't want to use my tweezers like I've seen others do - just didn't want to get them dirty.
It's not solder, its flux
Rare Knowladge, and very Helpfull
Tried the copper around the chip trick, and it didn’t work. all it did was make things worse
Remove the head , put it on a drill or fix it on a motor , and wipe it with sand paper ,,,, thank me later
What is the yellow liquid ? Can you tell me please!!
I have planned to repair my Logitech mr100, and I ordered replacement huano buttons. Though I would get the parts soon, I opened the button and repaired it today. Its a success and the button works like charm!
Pin#5 is gone 🥺😂 1:35 Thanks ! Appreciate your videos
